Mission Possible Food Drive Challenge – Buffalo City Mission @ Buffalo City Mission
Oct 1 @ 9:00 am

Challenge runs from October 1 – December 13, 2019

The Buffalo City Mission has developed a youth developed incentive program called Mission Possible. This challenge has been designed to grow the philanthropic heart of students in WNY by challenging them to engage in life-lessons regarding the relationship between giving back to their communities and building positive character attributes.

Throughout the 2019 Mission Possible Program, we will be incorporating the STEM (STEAM/STREAM) School initiative that will provide a learning tool to implement a collaborative and project-based platform where students of all ages can work closely together in a hands-on way to solve real-world problems, such as alleviating hunger. Students are challenged to use art/design, mathematics, and problem-solving skills to reach their goals throughout the Mission Possible Challenge Period. The integration of science, technology, engineering and mathematics practices used in conjunction with digital literacy will help students recognize and utilize the variety of perspectives that may be tapped into to help unravel complex inquiries.
