2015 Emerging STEM School Systems

The following school systems were recognized in 2015 because they demonstrated a commitment to allocating resources, developing staff, establishing programs or identifying priorities for STEM.  A team of non-school nominators across all counties suggests school systems for recognition annually. Systemic commitment to STEM is validated by the school system’s published curriculum and programs; board of education priorities and allocations and/or school site visits by the WNY STEM Board of Directors.  The recognition program was in partnership with Siemens Industry, Inc.
